Warning!

ranting ahead..wear your helmet

It has been a crazy busy work week but it doesn’t mean that I will get some rest this weekend. As of this writing, my husband ( my pickup/delivery dude) is picking up my paperworks from my boss’ office. I don’t have qualms doing my job, even the extras… I consider myself lucky because unlike many filipinos in my city, i’m one of the lucky birds who actually have a job…but what I do not like is this ageing body of mine feels like i’m on my 70’s really argh! I really hate hearing myself complaining about pain because one thing that i’ve learned, is that nobody wants to hear complains. but! for the love of charlie, my body aches! medication? I’ve a pretty weak stomach and a paracetamol of 500 mg could keep me awake the whole night, yep, with tummy aches. my constant chant these days: ‘live with pain , live with pain’ …buset!

————
& the B in me continues to rant!

after Charlie’s trip to the vet last week for his acne (they’re gone now, so the doggy has a smooth hanging cheeks again) we did went back to the vet last tuesday because he was p**ping with traces of blood. when I handed the vet this trip’s payment, I couldn’t help but whisper to Charlie that he had cost me (again) a pair of jeans! he’s now officially the most expensive member of this little clan. But anyway, my rant is not about that..it’s about demons who are on walking the face of this earth, who would walk on dogs’ territories just to prove their ’cause’ . These demons are two legged and they hate dogs so much that they throw poisoned treats for dogs to swallow. Just last year before we had charlie, a number of dogs in the area not only fell sick but for some, this demonic act was fatal!

and so the demons are at it again…why? because they said that the dogs are ‘not good for the environment’ huh, I beg your pardon?!? does that mean that you and I are not good for the environment as well? we do breath just like the animals, right? or left (side of your brain is not working, moron! ) they also argue that dogs ‘poop everywhere’ so they should be hated, poisoned and killed?!? now this is an idiotic notion..let me tell you why.

It is the owner’s responsibility to make sure that the dog do his thing on the ground where he’s supposed to. Holland even provides lots of grassy fields just for the dogs to poop. Some owners like to take their dogs in cities just like I do. Nobody wants to step on poops or even see them scattered, right? I hate that. But must I throw poison or waste my breath cursing the animals? I tell you what my husband and I do. We trained ourselves. If we want to take Charlie elsewhere, we make sure that he has done his thing completely beforehand. And even if he had an accident, then we’re equipped to clean up after him. But not all owners are as responsible and towards them, I am not afraid to open my mouth and give them a piece of my mind, ‘ pick up after your doggy, will yah?’ These type of owners are the guilty ones, not the dogs. It’s pretty annoying to see when the owner pretending not to see the dog emptying its belly and then walk away..such owner should be fined! There is a law in holland that the owners must carry plastic bags (heck! they even check your ID) and pick up after their dogs.. but most owners have problems picking up the yucky warm stuff, I say don’t get a dog, fool! It is also unfortunate that most of them owners walk scotfree when not spotted by the poop police -yes dude, we have them.

oh okay, back to the demons that claim that dogs poop everywhere.. unless bulag ka or may brace ang leeg mo or puno lang ng hatred ang dibdib mo, I say look where you’re going and walking! that doesn’t give you any right to poison the dogs. Terrorrists!

I know that i am sounding quite a bi*tch now..but nobody..NOBODY will hurt my Charlie and his friends!

2nd year and still here

I was reading someone else’s blog last night when it suddenly dawned on me that I am on my second year of blogging. Now that to me, is a feat since…

I never knew how to write (not that I do now,) what to write, not really knowing the rules of blog when I first started doing this in july of 2003. When I chanced upon blogger.com, I said to myself ‘why don’t I try it? if it isn’t for me, I could easily wipe out my account‘ ..obviously, I continued blogging. It just took some time getting used to doing it.

The beginning was that of childlike mumblings (& writings) most of them were senseless, gramatically challenged – the way you see still- and the sudden shift of focus and thoughts was and still is evident. Silly silly entries. But I do enjoy my being silly, life is serious as it is, right? or left?

There are things that I am grateful for as well, that blogging has brought me. As a student, I hated sitting still to compose on paper anything that my teachers would instruct us to do. English and Pilipino subjects were my weakest. Maybe because I love sports and colors more than tons of letters before my eyes, I was often bored out my wit! But blogging’s taught me that writing can be fun… as well as therapeutal, not to mention that this is such an ingeniuos way to meet other people…remember the first comment or tag you got? I remember the feeling it gave me…disbelief…because I really couldn’t understand how other people would take time to read what I’ve written and leave comments..I’d say to myself: ang tyaga nyo naman, hindi ba sumakit ulo nyo magbasa? *lol*…but yes, there are amazing people who find the time to read and leave messages, just to say that I matter. I am to this day, very thankful to all of you who frequent my blog no matter what I share {or not share} be silly or not.

Blogging is instrumental because via this I have met some wonderful people from the Philippines, United States, Canada, Japan, Germany, England, Luxembourg, UAE, Thailand, Singapore, Switzerland and elsewhere. Via this I’ve also met them ‘ bad eggs ‘ as how ajay calls them {yo! Ajay, I like the term} But that’s reality, you like some, you loathe some…no problemo. I stay focus on the ones I like, that’s it.

Now I wonder if my blogging would last for say, another month, another year? perhaps a decade? I guess as long as I still enjoy blogging then I’ll be here. And to be honest, as long as I have my blogger friends around, I will continue doing this. Plenty of times I’ve said to myself that ‘I’VE HAD IT W/ BLOGGING! ‘ but then, I also think there’s a truth to the saying that ‘once a blogger, always a blogger’..or is it just me, a fickleminded woman?
