Remote car for prince charlie

Charlie our pug is turning 8 years old this year. On June 10 to be exact. Time sure flies fast. It seems like it was only yesterday when a tiny puppy came to our lives, stole our hearts and became instantly the prince of our house. Now he is the king, of course. He’s promoted himself to the status.

Anyways, my husband and I always are on the lookout for playthings for Charlie. Fortunately he is still a puppy at heart. He runs like crazy, plays like crazy! A healthy boy, thank goodness. Of course he’d had some health issues that we luckily catch during early stages. I hope we continue to do so.

So I was thinking of giving him something different this year….since he likes chasing cars and bikes during walks, that’s why we’d never walk without a leash, I thought of a toy from Nitro Remote Control Cars I wonder if a remote car would catch his interest just the same? Besides it’s way safer inside our home to play this with him, I’m just hoping he’d chase it with gusto the way he chases the real thing.

Hmmm, what do you think? Money worth spending?

FRANKIE Stein (Monster High)

Three of my five Frankie Stein dolls.

Isn’t she lovely? (*^0^*) Even my almost 60 years old aunt is slowly falling in love with these dolls! I now have 29 in my collection, thanks to my aunt and friend living in the United States for taking care of the packaging and sending them to me back here in Holland. Yes, some toys stores sell them here but not the complete cast. And most I find are jacked up in price. Well, they do have to ‘translate’ the boxes into the local language because they are manufactured in China (Mattel) , so that explains why they’re pretty expensive around here thus I ask my aunt and fiend to buy them for me instead.

But sometimes I just couldn’t wait that long for the new ones arrivals. Like right now, I am itching to order them online eventhough price are doubled. *Breath in- breath out*  Think twice before hitting that ‘enter’ key.

Gah! I must resist! :D

Plug it in!

Listening to someone’s heavy snorring at night isn’t fun. I should know. Whenever my husband’s had a very busy and tiring day, he’s sure to make heavy ‘sound’ during his sleep. Don’t take me wrong, I do too, I admit. But not as heavy as my man’s because he can sleep through my snorring while I couldn’t through his. And once I’m awake, it’s difficult for me to shut my eyes, or should I say my brain?

I was just thinking, could those machines likeDreamEssentials.com white noise machines offers work? I am still to read their functions, I don’t quite understand what they’re for, to be honest. But I am so desperate for eyeshuts that I’m willing to try everything just to get it.

Hmmm…earplugs perhaps?

It's not the uniform alone.

As I was having my breakfast this morning (coffee and cereals, yum!) I was also watching the news, both local and international. I must admit that sometimes, I wouldn’t want to know anymore what’s going on in our world as news about killing and disasters are getting more ‘normal’ these day and age. Like ‘peace’ is difficult to find anymore. Don’t you just wish for only ‘good’ news especially in the mornings. I know , I know, that’ll be impossible…thus I continue to want to know…

There was one news this morning that I really found  absurd, concerning our local police and the need to make them look more ‘respectable! Some geniuses came up with the idea of giving them NEW uniforms that would make them so. What a stupid idea, IMO. Why? it isn’t just about the uniform that would make an individual nor group respectable to the rest, respect is earned, not demanded. It’s not like the doctors in whites, in their medical scrubs when on duty, people not just know who they are but immediately the sense of respect is there. Doctors save lives.
Well, police should be doing the same too, saving lives, protecting them. Unfortunately, in this part of Europe, police are more busy issuing parking tickets, walking around cities doing the best they can to make sure parked cars have paid their parking hours, or their packs of parking tickets which they carry all day long are fastly drawn out of their jackets (or pants or whatever they’re wearing) and penalties are issued. I exaggerate not! Police has daily quota to fulfill. So yeah, it’s about the money , honey. It’s about the amount a policeman would bring back to his post at the end of the day that matters. Busy Bee that's me!

Busy busy busy! MORE  Busy days , perhaps weeks ahead of me. I am so behind my administration work that I’m having this feeling like I’m back in school, cramming to study for exams!

In betweens, I try to squeeze in yoga, photography, blogging, Fbing, housecleaning, grocery shopping, taking a shower, brushing my teeth, yaddi yadda….:D  all in all, this bee is quite happy being busy! AND I am having a wonderful start of the year!  Negativities just don’t have a place in my life  now. When my father died, my uncle died and my father in law died between 2010 and 2011, I can say I’ve been through hell, so eveything you throw at me right now wont hurt me. Or I am trying my best …just trying my best. And when I try my best, many people do not like me. I really don’t care. Because the ones who get me, people closest to me and know me inside out, and love me, they are all that matter. The rest, no. :)

Anyways, I’m just checking in and tought of doing a short post.

Hey, have I wished you (yeah all 2 of you visitors!) a Happy New Year, yet?! ;)
