a day’s event
I’m off to bed but just want to do a short blog……
today we had a nice day….my husband & I together with my dad in law went to Volendam and Eikenhuizen, old cities about 2 hours drive from our place. It was supposed to be busy there, usually at this time of the year, full of tourists..but what we’ve seen was not so good. It wasn’t busy, meaning tourism is hurt.
We just roamed around, had something to eat. I had a lukewarm seafood salad which I must say, one of the best tasting salad I have tasted so far here in Holland, and the two had bitterballen ( bitter meat balls ) and cold beers. Of course, I had my camera with me so I took some pictures and I’m satisfied, tomorrow I’ll work on them….will edit them.
Well, I am really sleepy now…I have also said goodnight to my tita Jules whom I was chatting with earlier on YM, told her my eyes are half closed, I also dont know what I’m talking about here…so bye now.
