Friends call me Thess. I’m married to a wonderful Dutchman, we live in The Netherlands where we share home with Charlie & Gizmo, a pug & a ferret respectively.

I am the type who say what I feel, most of the time I am not afraid of confrontation. I am a toughie outside but softer than a rice porridge inside. I am far from being intelligent though I try to learn new things on a daily basis. I am a child at heart, in fact I’m entering my 4th decade this year and yet I still enjoy playing The Sims either on my Nintendo DS Lite or on my PSP or on my laptop. I am a weekend amateur photographer, which I consider my biggest hobby to date. I never leave the house without a camera. I also love to cook and I have a foodblog where I share recipes & stuff, even dreamed of working in a Michelin star studded restaurant. BUT that was just a dream. I am a procrastinator. I tend to multi task and quite lousy at it. I can not concentrate on work when I hear music. I used to be good in math. I used to sing for a living. I was terrible at it. I sing my emotions out. I am a boring person to be with.

My eyes are so big I often scare the hell out of Charlie the pug. I don’t wear expensive clothes, because I can’t afford them. I don’t carry around expensive bags, because I can’t afford them. I don’t wear fancy shoes, because I can’t afford them. I am proud to say though that I don’t owe anybody money. I only buy stuff that I can pay for. I never use my credit card unless I really have to.

I love my husband dearly. I love my family, though I don’t often show how much. I am a Christian. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour in 1991 and I was water baptized on Christmas day 2004, in Bangkok Thailand. Having Christ in my life is the best thing that has happened to me. Though I don’t show it much.
