and that is why
Some of you are probably fed up of my constant move, well…so am I. I truly am not enjoying all these transfers, from one database to another, trying to fix bugged blogs ( at least that’s what the database is constantly telling me, my old blogs and subdomains in ‘thess.nl’ were bugged ) but effort in vain as I am not expert in PHP/database mambojambo, I even had to manually transfer some entries and comments.
I have reasons to transfer, let me share with you why:
- my old domain’s pretty expensive to keep, for a small webspace I felt robbed. A good friend recommended it to me beginning of this year because he’s quite satisfied as he also bought his space from the same host. It was supposed to be one of the cheapest webspace provider in Holland. Hah! there’s nothing cheap in Holland.
- with the help and advice of a good friend from Germany, I bought this webspace which is a lot bigger yet still affordable, though transaction is only in german language which I neither speak nor write but that didn’t stop me from acquiring this space. Sometimes my good friend serves as my online/onphone (phoning her when I’ve loads of questions) helpdesk [hartstikke bedankt, girlfriend.] but I also exchange emails with my german host and I am still perplexed how we understand each other (oh alright, that’s not exactly honest of me..I use an online translator #:-S )
- 3rd reason for this move (final move, mind you…I’m getting too old for this) is that I really wanted to share my webspace with few friends, blogger friends, whom I know will enjoy the benefit of using wordpress. [paging e-writers, if you are still enjoying, say 'aye!' makuha ka sa tingin ;;) ] what’s the use of enjoying something if you will not share it with others?
- I actually didn’t have to change my blogs’ URL (so you folks do not have to again adjust your link…but really you don’t have to, I dare not ask anymore, abuso na palipat-lipat eh) I could still keep the domain name ‘thess.nl’ and annually pay for it, but hey, me no rich lady and I like this domain name..I think it’s pretty appropriate for blogging.
so there you go, reasons why I moved. It is tiring but I’m learning from all these. I also use my name and no longer ‘hide’ behind ’suplada’ , which I still am so please forget it not.

What have I been up to lately? Still busy with work both normal and part-time, gah! I sometimes wish that I have 2 sets of arms and eyes, so that when one set is tired, the other can continue working. There’s also a delay with the training that was supposed to be given to me last week..but I’ve no complain, in fact I’m a bit glad it’s been delayed. Oh, I also had my eyebrows permanently done last week. They are healing well, slowly shape and color are showing and baby, I am satisfied. I still have to come back though for a check up and if necessary, a re-touch. What a lovely feeling to wake up in the morning and when I look in the mirror I feel satisfied because I’ve got brows, yihaa! :D/: Another reason for feeling yihaa is because the facial products I bought are actually working and repairing my skin. I was diagnosed to have a 40ish facial skin due to dryness (painful, quite painful to hear the truth ) lucky for me, I still have hope. Even to my own ears, this sounds vain pero…pag tumatanda na pala kailangan talaga extra care sa sarili. Winter is just around the corner and this is my skin’s greatest hostile enemy , it’s simply not made for this icy season.
…so anyway, I moved, reparing my skin and new eyebrows, those are my update. I hope you guys out there are doing well.

natawa ako dun sa eyebrows, di pala ako nag-iisa, pero now nag-iisa nalang ako kasi ganda na yung sayo…hehe, samantalang ako, kelangan ko pang guhitan, arrrggghhh!
