American Restorations is one program that I dig to watch on a lazy Saturday morning. I am quite fascinated at the ‘junk’ people bring in for restoration. JUNK for us from the outside world who have no knowledge about antiques like classic cars and anything under the sun. But because of this program I now appreciate restored pieces, I really do. From old gum machine from the 1940′s that had I found it I’d quickly throw it away, but instead the restorers would do their best, find those difficult parts to be replaced (if missing) work on it then present to the owners .. like it came straight from the factory!
But it isn’t just old stuff that are being brought in, new as well. Sometimes they’d get new stuff like cars for reparation too.

Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah…guys, if you haven’t seen it yet, look for American Restorations, you might like it and who knows, you might get inspired to have any old stuff you got at home get restored.

I definitely need to organize my books, CDs, Bluerays, even my dolls and dolls’ clothes! They are all over the place! Well, they are all over my studio slash hobby room. It’s time to do some spring cleaning and I’m hoping to neatly arrange them in shelves. I was advised by my husband to do shelving in the past but I did not listen to him since I had a cabinet then but now that it’s overflowing with the stuff I meantioned earlier, I think I really need to find me some sturdy shelves.

This is what ‘spring cleaning’  brings…. extra light so that I am forced to clean up my clutter and much needed house chores. But no complains there, I just need to do what needs to be done.
