I told myself that it’ s all right, don’t panic that you lost your files. it’s not the end of the world last Saturday morning when I found out that my HP laptop crashed again. All important files are in it and I’ve decided not to bring it to the repair again because the guarantee has expired and mostly, I do not trust that machine anymore! So I was prepared to get rid of it. I still am. Only I truly need the files in it.

After two days, I wanna kick myself for not backing up my files! This has happened a few times now. I am looking at my external hard disk right now and sobbing a little from the inside. Today was my plan to transfer all my files to this hard disk. oh what a lousy lousy timing to ‘die’ on me!

Luckily big part of the photos I’ve taken during my visit in Asia last summer are in my other machine so that gives me comfort as those are all photos of my family back home. But still I am frustrated that this happened to me again. A laptop that cost quite expensive (not even half year old when it first broke down) shouldn’t be giving me this problem.

If only I can convince my husband that expensive doesn’t equal to best product. I hope the next time we need a laptop, he’ll trust my instinct his time.
