Are you hunting for flower arrangements or bouquets for your mom, wife, sisters, grandma of girlfriends? I think I can help you out with that one.

Last year for Christmas, I ordered flower bouquets online to be delivered to my aunt and an friend who both are USA residents. I could have done it by ordering from our local store here in Holland but I figured that would cost me extra. So what I did was browse the internet and found Proflowers. I kid you not if I tell you that both receivers were so happy with my gifts. I was also plesantly surprised when they posted photos of the arrangements on their facebook pages..I was a little bit proud too because I made them smile, love those moments! Only I didn’t know then that proflowers has a facebook page and they give out coupons so that when you order, you get discount.

So Mother’s day is around the corner, log on in to Fb and find proflowers coupons on facebook, use those to send beautiful flowers and save some $ at the same time. Trust me, whoever’s going to receive your flowers will definitely love you more!

There was a time that I dreamed of owning a horse, or a pony. I think the animals are intelligent and totally beautiful. But that would remain just that, a dream..because a. we do not have  a space, a piece of land where the animals can freely roam and 2. even if we have a land, I’m sure it’s a great responsibility having them, and quite expensive to maintain.  We don’t have that (money)  luxury to spare.

So I just content myself looking at them whenever I see them around. I would feel a bit of jealousy whenever I see girls and women riding beautiful horses such as the one you’re looking at the photo which I shot few weeks back when we visited the beach. I sometimes even admire what the girls are wearing, from their  equestrian boots to their jackets, Lol!

Oh well, I have a loving pug, that’s more than enough for me :)

Something’s made me quite excited this morning. As usual upon waking up (uh-oh a confession is about to be said) the very first thing that I do is check my mails and Facebook page on my play station portable, which often irritates my husband because I’d do it even when the birds aren’t singing outside yet! Even if this is causing my eyes great strain (gosh, I really really need to visit my optometrist for glasses now…but no, I can still do without, I don’t want to wear specs, not just yet!!)but like a child who doesn’t listen to good advice, I’d still turn it on and squint while reading the tiny prints on its screen.

Anyhow back to my story, I got excited this morning because I found people I knew in the past that I’ve been hoping to find again, make contact. Isn’t those online network channels great?! If not for them, how can millions of people living from different parts of the world make contact with each other? Long lost family members can be found by using e.g. Facebook. Long lost love, Facebook. Old higschool or college classmates, Facebook!

It’s funny to see how people change! I mean physically. The young faces are now a picture of maturity, self-assured, no more baby fats but rather themselves now raising children of their own.  Most are successful in their chosen fields.

Ah, I’m just silly excited. To ‘see’ them again, even just online.

Many have lost their lives just to reach them. Many of them were prepared for the climb. Months or even years of training was needed for such feat and yet some were not able to realize their dream. It would have been a surge of unexplained feeling, if only they reached the summit of their dream.

I guess I’m lucky that I did not have to be a professional climber just to ‘see’ the top of ém high peaks. I was comfortably seated and had the window-seat view…when these beauty went past underneath me. Can you see them peaking out the clouds? Those are Swiss alps!

I only had my mobile phone and I ‘m glad it has a good camera.

the peaks are more evident on this second shot…I tell you, they’re quite amazing to see! Under me!

My husband was scolding me when I started to turn on my mobilephone, warning me that it’s not allowed on board. I said I’ll just take a few shots and will turn it off immediately after. I kept my word, his brows relaxed :D

I thought I’ll be needing a defibrillator (AED) from this experience…though it’s beautiful to see, realizing you’re flying just above it made me a bit agitated too.
