Boggles my mind how the ship operator can ignore hurricane warnings which is being broadcast on satellite and marine radio channels all over the country. This smacks of either ignorance or total negligence

If this happened in North America or Europe, Sulpicio Lines will be bankrupt in an instant with the lawsuits from surviving families of those who perished.

Dyan din nga ako nagtataka eh kumbakit bumiyahe sila at “sinalubong” ang bagyo. Personally, I think it’s sheer stupidity that pushed through despite the impending storm. Ang nangyari tuloy andaming napahamak. It’s truly a waste of human lives.

i have the same thoughts. common sense lang na hindi dapat pumalaot yun dahil sa bagyo. ilang ulit na pinapakita yung balita sa local news dito. :(
