Disgusting handwriting!
I used to have an ‘okay’ handwriting. I remember my aunt back in the late 70’s who used to teach us writing when my siblings and I were in primary school. She’d sit us down every afternoon after school to do our homeworks and after that we would practice writing under her watchful eyes. She was really a terror and strict. She has this long thin stick that she’d use to ‘tap’ our hands if we do not write accordingly. yes, we all had good handwritings, thanks to her scary stick!
But that handwriting is long gone, at least in my case. Thanks to the years of using computers that I barely write but type on the keyboard and just print if any is needed to be printed. Gone are using Papermate pens for writing, which by the way is my favorite pen of all. With its thick end that glides on paper, oh that was really nice to use! I remember carrying a number of it in my school bag usually red, blue and black inks. Black papermate is my color thus I always have extras of black.
*Sigh* if my aunt could only see my handwriting now, I’m sure she’ll be disgusted. How about you? How’s your handwriting? Is there also a dramatic change on your handwriting due to using too much of computer?
