It’s Friday once again! Am I alone feeling this or do you also feel like days are going too fast that you just can’t keep up? -not only with works or activities but the days itself? Most of the times I couldn’t believe that days switch sooo quickly I ended up thinking how my past days went by.

Luckily I can still remember what I did Wednesday this week (thank you blog!) honestly, if I haven’t written it down, I’ve already forgotten. And maybe because I had an interesting time last Wednesday at the Philippine Embassy in The Hague that it’s worth an entry BUT I will do it some other time. Right now I am more focused on Mutya Buena. Birthname: Rosa Isabel Buena whose dad is a Filipino from Bohol which I’ve never been to, hopefully some day I be able to visit it, and mom is a half Irish. Do you know her? If not, do you know the Sugarbabes where she was an ex member? Sugarbabes was created by Mutya and Keisha Buchanan (the jamaican Sugarbabes member) when they were eight years old.

In 2005 she left the Sugarbabes to give birth to her love child but never came back again to the group but instead launched her solo career. I think that she is more popular now as a solo artist, doing numbers with popular artists like George Michael, even toured and sung with him during his London / Manchester 25 live tour.

Though the Philippines is known in Europe as a poor country, we are also known as a country of great singers and artists that’s why I am proud of Mutya’s accomplishments. Her Real Girl album entered UK chart at number 10-remained at the top 40 for 3 weeks beating the album of another ex-Sugarbabes bandmate, Siobhán Donaghy.
