*ladybug spinning what’s left of its food*

We have decided to repair our garden ourselves to save us at least Euro 2K , thus this past weekend, since the weather was cooperative, my husband has started digging mud from the old fishpond, clean up weeds, and took out tulip-bulbs which will be planted again next year. This week, we will be scouting for tiles, stones and whatever is needed for this project.

Anyway, since it’s a bit nice to walk in the garden because of the clean up, I took out my iPhone4s and macrolens and tried capturing whatever it was that caught my eyes. This was from yesterday. No editing done just watermarked it with my name.

I can’t help but sometimes wish our wide television is wall mounted!
Because when I’m cleaning the screen especially when it’s way too much spots (or spits) done by my pug whenever he barks at dogs or horses or car chasing on television. I tend to push it a bit too hard, but since the design is thin, I sometimes am afraid I’d break it into pieces!

I just wish my husband has listened to me and checked this link’s monitor mounts because I’m pretty sure mounted on the wall is more safer, my pug couldn’t ‘spit’ on it and well, I wouldn’t be nervous cleaning it!

Ah men, when would they listen to their wives?

I was never a fan of Tom Cruise (nor of Brad Pitt ) but to be honest I rather watch Tom’s movie for entertainment than Brad’s. I don’t know why, but I don’t like Brad’s lousy acting. Well both actors are in their late 40′s now, right? I say Tom is turning into …hmmm..a hottie old man!

I was just browsing the net for some news when I came across this:

It’s Tom Cruise like you’ve never seen him before.

The 49-year-old Hollywood A-lister sheds his shirt and applies the guy-liner for his new role as a rock star in the Broadway musical turned movie Rock of Ages.

W magazine provided Celebuzz an exclusive first look of their photo shoot with Tom, husband of Katie Holmes, who posed in character as Stacee Jaxx alongside some sexy scantily-clad blondes.

Sporting huge tattoos, six-pack abs and low-cut jeans, the actor is smoldering with sexuality in the image. He said of his chic magnet role:

“I knew we had to push the sexuality because of the nature of the character and the songs. He’s singing, ‘I want to know what love is.’”

here is the source link and you better see Tom’s photos for yourself!

The advantage of having our own business is that we have the luxury of working at home. My husband’s office at the second floor of the house and I most of the time do my administration workk at the ground floor. Although we are both home, it doesn’t mean that we are constantly seeing each other. I would only see him when he’s coming down to get coffee or eat his lunch (lunch is 2 pieces of bread or sometimes just a cup of soup.)

No wonder my husband could see everything that is happening in our street because of his location upstairs! I sometimes had to laugh because he seems to know faces of our neighbors and could actually tell them to which housedoor they belong to. He even knows the exact time when delivery trucks are coming, or when the mailman is passing. So there goes my online shopping beauce of that, lol! Yeah I do hide online purchases from his especially if they are dolls for my collection, ha ha ha! I wonder how I would hide this purchase from him, hmmm..I’m thinking of purchasing a cool watch and shirt from this link neff as gifts for my niece and nephew respectively, who graduated from school this year. Oh wait! Why would I hide it when it’s not for me nor dolls?! Silly!

I always say that people should act their age. Dress their age. That was years ago, during my 20′s. I have always been an oldfashion dresser and well, the jeans-type. Pretty boring style people would never give a second time to look at.

But I can say that I dress my age, especially now in my 40′s. Still a jeans type but my preferred top blouses have adjusted, I think they became better. I don’t wear t-shirts outside home. Well skimpy shirts to be exact.
So imagine my jaw dropping what I saw this weekend, a woman around her early 60′s, really looking like my grandma as I recall….gray hair, frail….but old lady was wearing a short skirt, long boots almost to her knees and hmmm, an inappropriate t-shirt that we’d normally see adolescents wear. You know with bold words screaming in front? Just like tees you’ll see on this link custom t-shirts online.

I know, I know…it’s a free world and everyone should dress the way they want to. It’s not my business and I should stick to mine. But hey, I’ve eyes that see around me, I couldn’t help and notice. Do you think I’m being a stuck up?

I always wonder how my husband can easily make our walls dirty just by touching them? *Argh!!* I always plead with him to take time when washing his hands, especially after walking the dog and washing it. He simply does not have the patience to even let the soap produce bubbles nor his palms get wet when washing hands! No wonder our ecru walls have his finger prints all over especially the used-to-be-white switch plates, you know when turning on/off the lights, have turned brown and gray, argh again!

I also am fed up to watch him properly wash hands, to be honest, because come one, he is not a child anymore. Do not misunderstand me please, I love my husband to pieces and he is the best man a woman can ask for, but yeah, I also married not just his postive sides but his totality. Well, he also takes a lot of my ‘crap’ lol!

But I just wish he’d wash his hands patiently. Afterall, it’s a waste of water and soap.

Goodness, this doll-collecting obsession of mine is getting out of hand!
I now have about 40 Monsther High dolls and have started looking around for Blythe, Pullip, Dal, and Byul dolls! The last 4 series I have tried in the past not to seek because they cost way too expensive for me (that’s why I started collecting MH instead, which is a bit affordable) but now, I don’t know…I am even going to dust off my sewing machine (my dad in law gave me as a gift) and find new threaded inserts that I can use since I lost the old set, just so I’ll be able to personally just make the dolls dresses myself!

Ah, just this morning, I went to ebay and bought a little pullip doll that is so pretty! And also placed ann order for a pullip and byul dolls.

This isn’t good!! *argh!*

One advantage of living outside the city is seeing beautiful farm animals around! Beautiful horses, cows, sheeps, wild sorts of birds are just some that I marvel at when taking a walk outside.

Especially during Springtime, this season means cows and sheeps are allowed to roam the fields. It’s marvelous to see them being let out especially the cows that seem to can not hide their happiness to be out that like human children they would run and even kick on the air!! Sheeps are shaven and withouth the heavy wool, it’s like being reborn again. And horses? Ah, children and women, most that I see, ride them proudly, parading them outside for us folks to marvel at. Beautiful creatures! I have once dreamnt of owning a horse or a pony…only the costs are too high, besides..I’m better having a dog. But had I owned a horse, I am pretty sure I’ll love it to pieces, might even join equestrian competitions (a dream!) ‘would be nice too to wear those jodhpurs outfits, ha ha!

Ah, but I am just content seeing them around, these animals. Truly nature is beautiful! Happy to be living not in the city, yes I am!

At times, I think it’s pretty unbelievable how people these days live. It seems like the majority of us are hooked up on their gadgets, relying on those machines to be able to function daily. With all these technologies around us, things seem to be easier to do. Take for example, if you need to call friends or family living in another country, you have an iPhone for that. But wait! International calls do not have to be expensive these days, all you need is a wifi an an app that would even help you connect with them not only through voice call but also video call, yes, talking and seeing them is possible now. Can you imagine that 20 years back? In a grocery, if you are a bit unsure which you mom has asked you to buy, take a photo of a mechandise and message it to mom real-time, and your mom on the other device (who is probably sitting at home watching tv) can easily see it and simply text you back her reply! I find that cool!

But there is also a downside of it all. People seem to get lazier too. To be honest, I seldom see children playing on the streets anymore. Don’t kids need physical activities as well as brain activities their game gadgets give them? I seldom see children running after each other, laughing, or playing basketball, or hey, how about those kids from the past playing yo-yos?! Talking about yo-yo, I have a link for you that offers cool yo-yos, check it out -> yo yo factory…alright going back to us becoming lazy…

I wish parents, busy parents, still would push their children to get their physical activities outside their homes. Children need to socialize (not just on FB or twitter) need to play with their peers.Well, just my 2 cents, really.
