french fries cologne, anyone?

Dutch FrenchyWho would have thought that oil used for frying fries, burger, onion rings or such, can be used to fuel your auto! I was both amazed and entertained yesterday when I saw a short news about this guy and his auto fueled by old used oil he buys from burger chains.

Amazed because it does work, he says with his ‘oil’ he’s able to travel across States with no problem at all. And because it’s a lot cheaper than diesel he formerly used, he’s no problem using this food smelling fuel. Besides he says that it’s environmentally friendly. Paging Al Gore, LEARN from this man!
Anyway, he adds that it also depends on the oil he uses, sometimes his (and occupants of his car) would smell like food, LMAO! Even the people driving behind him would suddenly get hungry when they smell what’s coming out of his pipe. I wonder if he’d drive his car if he has to go to important meetings, or a date? Nobody would like to date a guys who smells like onion ring! That’s a turn off for sure :shh:

If you’re to choose between diesel/benzine OR vegetable/cooking oil :hungry: which one would you rather use?

cooking oil na lang din, if it helps the environment :) magdala na lang ng ketchup yung friends ko para pam-partner sa fries. :D

Oh my, hindi applicable sa amin yan. Gas here in KSA is really cheap. If I am not mistaken it is only around USD0.23 per liter!

Pero siyempre if for the environment, I’ll definitely go with the vegetable/cooking oil. Nakalakwatsa ka na… busog ka pa sa amoy!
