Frozen Tears (Weekend Snapshot)

It’s been a while since I last joined Weekend Snapshot, due to many reasons but I am here now sharing not this weekend’s photos but rather taken 2 weekends ago when we had a cold but beautiful full week of low temperature. I just walked around the neighborhood and there was enough subjects that caught my attention. One of them were these icy leaves.
You would think they would die since they’re covered with ice and looked brittle to touch. But these leaves can withstand the winter and surely bounce back to normalcy after they thaw. Wonder of nature.

it amazes me how certain plants are able to survive severe winter weather conditions…
