some people say that animals are just that, animals. that they should not be treated more than they should be …because after all, they do not think like people, they do not feel like people, or their lives aren’t as important as people’s.
if only I can put behind bars these people with such mentality, then i would. DISGUSTING people! you are beneath of all the animals that walk on the face of this earth.
why do you think you are better than anyone that God has created?

true… humans are not necessarily better than other living things, it’s just that, given what we have been given, we’re allowed more choices, and have more responsibilities…
am not saying not to do anything against pests and rabid dogs… but surely, there just has to be respect for those who cannot really defend themselves…

yes thess, i am not kidding here but sometimes i wonder if i really should go vegetarian or cut down on all the meat. but i guess am too much of a foodie to do that :(

honestly, im not very fond of animals. i enjoy watching but i wont cuddle them. still, i despise anybody who is hurting animals.

hi ate-theskya! kumusta? all of creation is beautiful in the Creator’s (God’s) eyes, and that includes animals, di ba? people should be kind to them! :) animals do feel, and love! i’m sure a lot of us have experienced how it is to be loved by our dear pets! Just wanted to share this nice poem with you. If you have time, it would be nice if you could read James Herriot books (that is, it you haven’t done so yet). He was a British vet who wrote wonderful stories about his life as a vet and the wonderful animals he took care of. Some stories are funny, some are simply heart-breaking.
