I need eyeglasses and I can’t believe it!
When I was working as an optometrist I would often tell patients above forty: “it’s normal now that you are unable to read small letters in short distance” further I’d add that it’s due to the crystalline lens (lens inside our eyes) that has becoming opaque due to aging when it needs to stay transparent for light to penetrate it, now light is passing through 100% thus blurring of vision occurs. It sounded like a ’standard’ line back then. factual, but still standard. But now that I’ve reached the ‘legal’ reading eyeglasses years, the standard line back then become my reality and I can’t believe (or accept) that it’s finally happening to me. I need reading eyeglasses now!
And where to get them cheap? At Zennioptical.com (just click the link.) I know what cheap in price is and their offers are. They make their own frames thus totally removing the 3rd party sellers hence cheaper frames, ranging from $8 up, and I mean full Rx! Liveweb by Howard even endorses this optical.
I like a semi-frames such as this:
not too heavy on the nose and well, not too shabby. Do you think I look (too) old with this one? Anyhow, there are thousands of frames to choose from and I’m glad about that, because I can be quite picky!
Ah sign of old age….the fun is now beginning!
