Late bloEmers
Monday, June 12, 2006 12:02Wij hadden de lange winter dit jaar dus de bloemen zijn vrij laat bloeiend
We had a long winter this year thus, flowers are blooming quite late.
Trees (male) are busy releasing their fine, dustlike powder discharged {that contain mature germ cell which fertilizes the female part (ovule) of a flower} & it’s quite fascinating to see ‘snow’ coming from trees but at the same time irritating because this has triggered my allergy. I guess that’s a little sacrifice to be able to enjoy the crisp sun, hearing birds sing, watching our new born fishies {kois} in the pond also enjoying the sun, sitting outside and most of all, BBQ-ing! We barbequed for the first time yesterday, it was fun!
What I also enjoy during this time, is taking pictures of plants which we planted last year, this year they produced some stunning flowers like
deep purple iris, this smelled like vanilla…lasted only for 3 days though
a light-blue coloured iris, with a lighter odour…click the thumbnail below to see it on a larger scale,
stunning sparkling petals!
and these (I forgot its name) this provides a bed of colour just under the taller flowers 
I just love the sun!

Ganda ng flowers (and of course, the shots na rin). It’s a blessing that you have a garden there where you can plant flowers and, yes, have a place to grill. Have a nice week, Thess, and God bless!

i never really liked flowers… until i really became an outdoor person and into photography…
