love in any language

One Sunday afternoon, my little family went biking around this little island that we live in. My passenger was actually enjoying the ride, unlike last year’s, when 80% of the trip he fell asleep…this time he was attentive to his surroundings and like he was taking mental pictures of everything he sees. I wanted my little passenger to meet other inhabitants of the island so I decided to stop when I saw some sheeps feeding on top of the hills (actually dikes, I’d like to think we have hills around here.) This particular mommy sheep, upon seeing Charlie, hurriedly ran down the hill with her baby in tow (see the baby’s feet just behind mom) and just had to see Charlie face to face.
They stayed like that for some minutes while I was wondering if they were actually talking. Do you think animals of different species can understand each other? Do they share the same language? I was also wondering what they were thinking.
What was the conversation all about?
mommy sheep: what are you little creature?
charlie: i am charlie. these 2 are my humans.
mommy sheep: do you taste like grass?
charlie: i bark.
what about you, do you think they have a common language?

Charlie:nope,I eat Thai foods and my favorite is beef salad. My room mate is an expert.

♥ haha
