I thought ‘meme’ belongs in the past, *wink*. So! I was ta(r)geted by two blog neighbours in 2 succeeding days to take part in doing memes. 1 I’ve already accomplished and posted on my foodblog and I don’t know if anybody will read what I’m about to write here randomly, but I’d like to give way to Cherry’s tag
‘10 random facts about myself’
oh goody goody, here we go..prepared to be bored I’m warning yah ol
1. I’m deaf. Tone deaf that is. There are particular notes that I couldn’t hear which frustrated not only me to no end, but also musicians that I worked with in the past. During my first 2 years of singing, I had to be taught or sent tapes to study just so that I could do my part, only later I learned to ‘feel’ the melody, actually make a story out of a song so that I can harmonized it. Don’t ask me how I did it, or still doing it. It’s a feeling.
2. I hated it so much when a boy classmate in primary school, I think I was about 8-9 years old, slipped a love note in my notebook, yuck! * he he he , now I’m longing for those har har*
3. I used to worship Mc Gyver (Richard Dean Anderson) that my school locker and home closet were full of his posters!
4. I also had a huge crush on George Michael back in the 80’s that when he ‘came out’, gusto ko sya’ng bunutan ng kilay!!
5. In the early 90’s, 2 of the optical shops where I alternately worked for were robbed in two separate occasions. In one branch, my male colleague and our technician were tied up and locked in a small room. And in the other branch another male colleague was threatened with a knife, fortunately, wasn’t harmed. In both cases, I was at home, sick. hmmmm…
6. I never really had a longing for a baby.
7. I once had an awful spat with my female co singer, on stage! Luckily performance was over that night. But up to this day, I still shake my head when I think of that.
8. I’m crazy about my new mobile phone. Not because I can use it to call but I can play cool games in it. I think I should have stopped after ‘crazy’, éh?
9. I was never really an animal lover. Sure we had loads of animals in our little yard when I was a small child, but never got the chance to pet them nor cuddle them. Only when I got married that I learned to value, truly value an animal’s life. Thanks to my husband who learned me that.
10. Not even once that I had a girly girly talk with my mom.

usually in the morning, my pug Charlie is on my desk, yes that’s mess numero uno, amigo. But my usual mess are…are you ready for these?
- a long massage machine for my back that if Samantha Jones would see it, she might mistake it for a di*do.
- papers from 2 bosses scattered around
- a hand lotion
- my pencil collection
- a box of tissue
- a scanner
- a little golden clock which Jing gave me
- my desk top
- a mini CD rack
- my digicam
- and a whole lot more! (of mess)

edited part: because my pretty young amiga Tin (pinayhekmi), who’s wit is as sharp as my butcher’s knife, has called my attention on random numero uno..that’s NOTES, I am note deaf (ever heard of that?) some notes I couldn’t hear… especially the half notes…grrrr, I hated ‘em!!

nice interesting facts about you! ako i have always been close with my mom, kaso di nga kaya ang mga tanong ko about the birds and the bees…she encourages talking, but she feels shy when i ask her questions. how are the boys? hmmm, i have a blog waiting to be posted sa animals page natin…bat ba ang lazy ko? any chance you want to join the joke contest dun sa blog ko? sali na malapit na deadline. :D

I’m not really close to my mother, we always clash whenever we’re in the same room…but we do love each other so much, ibang klaseng magmahalan nga lang talaga :biggrin: , at least your mom likes you to talk, ako pinatatahimik ng nanay ko when I was a young girl, daldal ko daw eh, tanong ng tanong! :rotfl:
oh dear, you’re not alone…I sure have stories for our animal page, but maybe I’ll do it after my vacation (I’ll be taking a short one)…joke contest? CORNY AKO EH! baka mabato lang ng kamatis na vulok :ohstop

TIN: hello Tin! :wave: sung was the word, I used to in the early ’til late 90’s, in fact Singapore was the first international soil I visited, sung numerous chinese numbers, whew…do you know Sandy Lam? she’s my favorite.

Some notes, I should have written ‘note deaf’, crap :biggrin: ..how I did it on stage? dinaan sa ka-artehan at patakyut (takooot!) and besides, nadaan sa make-up, Jing & Beng can testify to that :nyaha
duhlin’, there is no way you’ll ever me hear sing! nanakot pa daw oh :))
