Pain…I would never wish on anyone.
Thursday, January 14, 2010 19:33Before bathing it has been my ritual to scrub the shower tiles/floor and do it again after I’m done cleaning myself. A small window in the bathroom is always open for ventilation. Small bathroom needs to stay dry, especially during winter season. Because my body isn’t build for this winter temperature that I always ask my husband to close it for me because a simple gush of cold air sometimes could send my neck, shoulders or backten leads to days of pain.
Well last Thursday (Jan. 7) it happened again. I simply twist my upper torso to scrub the upper tiles when I start feeling pain beginning on my upper left back. While bathing I was hoping it wouldn’t stay or if it does, it would not spread. But the exact opposite happened. I had this horrible pain that lasted for 5 days. The second night was the most terrible because it sent me crying. I could only take light pain killers because of my weak tummy. If only my doctor could prescribe me better joint pain remedies, I’ll be very very greatful.
I guess this is the price of marrying someone living in this part of the planet. Why did I agree when I was asked during our wedding day if I “will cherrish and love him for better or worse”
