We all know that at present, it’s not going well financially in many countries. If you think that it’s only in the United States that banks and huge companies are going bankrupt then you have it wrong. In England few banks, big insurance companies and travel companies have gone bankrupt in a span of few weeks. And what about Italy’s Alitalia airline?! Here in Europe, left and right you will read about this and that bank or company going sour…really it’s scary. You just can’t help but wonder if all these will ‘affect’ me. Well of course it does.

So for a stay home wife like myself, it’s really important to some smart budgeting. Money goes out faster than it comes in monthly, right? In an average family with both parents working, budgeting can still be difficult so what’s more for us with a sole earner? Thus the task of finding stuff we need to buy on sale is what I’m always looking for. I do not just buy the first offer that I see in stores or even online stores. Luckily I have all the patience to browse for good offers. Like I am in need for an external hard drive for an old laptop. I don’t want to buy a new laptop since my laptop is working perfectly, only the memory capacity is full so rather than upgrading to a new laptop, I decide on an external drive since it’ll be cheaper. I chose this external hard drive because of the price that is really a steal! And with 2 TeraBytes. That’s a huge storage and I’m sure it’ll take me few years to fill it. Oh well, maybe just a year since I work a lot on photos and music storage.
