I have always liked edited photos, you know those ones that are colorful and look like straight out of children’s book. I always been a straigthforward photographer. I’ve only used my editing tools to crop photos or it they need a bit of brightness…but never heavily edited any.

Not until I discovered apps. And how fun it is editing photos on my iPad2! I often use my iPhone4s now and just use the iPad2 for editing, much easier on the bigger screen.

And since I also discovered that instagr.am is where I can showcase these kind of editing, I think I’ll be doing more editing in the future :) Only instagr.am service has gone down to the drain eversince it’s was bought by FB guy. Yeah him. A lot of great photographers have left the service and if you happen to use the service you’ll know what I’m talking about. Have you seen its ‘Popular Page’? All you’ll see are ugly faces, manicured nails, butts, and all those horrible photos which FB is more known of.

It has become another facebook. :/

Back in July my husband bought an iPad for me. Perhaps to take my mind off from my father, who in the same month left earth to be with the Creator.

Because my husband saw how depressed I was and since he also knew how I like playing games whether online or on game consoles, he bought this for me. I, who gave a thumbs down review on this Apple tablet, started using it.

Now a day can’t pass without me using it. Most of all play with it.

I have downloaded a few games, all free of course (I just don’t see myself , yet, paying for any games while there are a lot of them good ready to be downloaded) and this was one of the free I’ve chosen, it’s called “We Rule”

The idea is to build your kingdom by expanding lands, buying realms on all four corners, and of course buying buildings, trees, and all those you would normally have in any kingdom. How can you buy stuff?  That’s the genius idea behind this kind of game, gamers with no patience and just want to build faster would have to buy them, with real dollars.

But I do have patience. Or simply stingy. :P

Only after reaching certain certain level , it has become a bit boring for me. No one to fight with, no one to exchange ideas with. Just build build build. Oh by the way, you earn the coins by doing some farming. So you need to log in everyday, plow, plant and harvest. You choose from different fruits or vegetables and their corresponding hours before they mature.

Anybody playing this out there Just add me, there you see my username :)

We Farm…or I should say I Farm (on iPad)

Even as a child, I loved playing games. Electronic games. My first experience playing it was when my father, who then was a seaman brought home our first atari game console. Needless to say, me and my siblings truly enjoyed those times whenever we’re allowed to play, that is after we’re done with school/ homeworks.

As an adult (and probably too old…but do I care? :P ) I still play a lot. And I’m glad I do. I’m glad for Facebook’s games and other game consoles that I own, playing helps me forget even temporarily, that my father is no longer with us. Perhaps that sounds ridiculous, but when I want to forget or to avoid crying, I grab, like my iPad..and play away.

Speaking of iPad, yep…after belittling it here on my very blog just many weeks ago, guess who’s got it and enjoying it every waking moments?

but that’s another story…perhaps I’ll share in the future why I have the tablet.
