I always admire photos with soft touch on them, good ones…but I never really applied them to my photos. Oh well, seldom.
So when I bought an app from iTunes and started experimenting…I got hooked! Applying soft touch is one of my favorite editing tool to use.
I still very much prefer simple and pure photos, with almost no editing done on them. But once in a while, which I didn’t know before buying these editing apps, editing can be fun…especially if I like the results . 
I am tremendously enjoying using my ipad for editing lots of my photos. So much that I hardly use my Adobe Photoshop!
I am pretty surprised at the quaility of photo editors that I purchased on iTunes, to be honest. Most are straight forward, no need to attend any photoshop seminars just to learn editing. Perhaps some will disagree with me but that’s my opinion.
I believe in the beauty of untouched photos. I STILL DO. That’s why for years since I had my dslr, I would only use editors to resize my photos or if it needs a bit of clarity, then that’s what I’d do. But time’s a-changing and I have this hunger to learn and try out new things. What’s more, with the birth of instagr.am , which I have been using for more than a year now, I discovered that I need not be serious about photos and have fun …meaning I can even play around and edit photos like children do, lol!

Yes it is! I can’t wait for Spring to officially begin at this side of the planet! I just can’t wait to shed all these thick clothes, thick shoes, and just feel the warmth of the sun against my whole body that is aching for it!!
In the meantime, beautiful flowers are keeping me company. They’re around all year long but buying them from flower shops are pretty costly thus market it is for me if I want them in our home on a weekly basis.
These tulips are part of the bunck that I bought yesterday. I was in the mood to do some photography and this was just one of the almost 100 that I took.
Well…I really just wanted to say that I’m excited for the coming of Spring!
I am holding my camera again and I’m starting taking photos.
I’ve lost my interest in photography for almost a year (due to personal reason) but I have decided to snap out of this period and enjoy it again. Or at least I will try
Thus, this afternoon this is what I found in our backyard while I let my pug Charlie play there. Focusing on its center but I failed. Not only that my hands were shakey, wind blowing did not help as well.
Practice. Practice. I need to practice a lot, again, and again.

I am again doing some macro photography the past days. I love macro photography, only due to my eyesight getting blurry at close distance (yep! it’s the age thing) I’m a bit down whenever I couldn’ t focus right on my subjects, my targets. Since macro photography requires sharp eyes, well I kind of pushed it in the backseat. You might ask why not get a pair of Rx? I already visited an optometrist for that but he said that I am not ‘quite’ there yet which I understand (as being an ex-opto myself) …I don’t want to be ‘there’ but really when it happens, I can not do anything about it. *sigh*
Anyway, this post isn’ t about my eyes but about thismacro photo I shot last night. What do you think is happening here? These miniatures resemble any couple having discussion, no matter what its about. The lady looks like me when I’m ‘explaining’ to my husband why I need a new camera lens ha ha! Or a new bag, or shoes 
Or me explaining: ” honey, I didn’t exceed my budget for this bag, it’s actually from promotional bags offered and I got it cheap! ”
