My 3 Dracularas that I used for this ‘photoshoot’ yesterday. Inside my small studio came past by my husband and saw me busy trying to sit, stand and kneel these beauties. Said; ‘I admire your patience, honey!’.

The dolls are not meant to stand on their feet alone but with patience, well..I can make them stand which is a lot better when photographing them. Only in this case, I wanted them to gather around the camera and standing will not be that ‘interesting’ as their positions on the photo.

Aren’t they cute? :)

Lately I have been in the mood again to photograph my Monster High dolls collection, yeah! It’s been a while since I last let anyone out of their glass cabinet, lol! Well anyways, since iPhone4s is so easy to use, I love its camera lens clarity, wide lens, and easy uploads, not to forget to mention, it’s way much easier for me not to edit any photos since many apple apps are ‘self explanatory’ than adobe photoshop with all those icons I would never understand :P

Spectra was one of the first batch I ever bought (last year, that is when I started collecting) She appears a bit gothic as she is also a ghost’s daughter. Her dress is quite purple-ish but I opted for more grayish tint, although  the color purple is still to see. :)

Three of my five Frankie Stein dolls.

Isn’t she lovely? (*^0^*) Even my almost 60 years old aunt is slowly falling in love with these dolls! I now have 29 in my collection, thanks to my aunt and friend living in the United States for taking care of the packaging and sending them to me back here in Holland. Yes, some toys stores sell them here but not the complete cast. And most I find are jacked up in price. Well, they do have to ‘translate’ the boxes into the local language because they are manufactured in China (Mattel) , so that explains why they’re pretty expensive around here thus I ask my aunt and fiend to buy them for me instead.

But sometimes I just couldn’t wait that long for the new ones arrivals. Like right now, I am itching to order them online eventhough price are doubled. *Breath in- breath out*  Think twice before hitting that ‘enter’ key.

Gah! I must resist! :D

They’re here! My new Monster high dolls are here! weeeeeeeeee

Oops sorry about that :D It’s just that I’ve been waiting for my dolls to arrive the past 8 days and when they finally were brought in by the postman, I was thrilled!

Fresh from their boxes and needed to be prep, especially the hairs, all unruly unfortunately. I can’t wait to photograph them but for the meantime, let me share another doll with you..

Monster Parents: The Ghosts

Killer Style: Silk, silk and more silk accentuated with just a touch of metal. It allows me to freely float about with just a hint of rattle. It’s quite the haunting look, wouldn’t you agree?

Freaky Flaw: Yes, well I’ve never really given this much thought you see since I find that it’s unhealthy to focus on what one does wrong especially when contrasted with all the good one does in unlife. I am also not a gossip, despite rumors to the contrary.

Pet: Rhuen is my ghost ferret. Did you know that the name ferret comes from the Latin furittus, which means “little thief”? Of course you didn’t until I told you!

Favorite Activity: Providing certain information not readily available to the general Monster High student body.

Biggest Pet Peeve: When certain monsters doubt the behind the screams information I have about what really happens at Monster High. It can be very difficult being the only one in the know.

Favorite School Subject: Journalism.

Least Favorite School Subject: Math. It’s just so rigid and un-open to interpretation.

Favorite Color: Violet

Favorite Food: Angel Food cake. It’s light and full of sweetness, much like me.

She’s FRANKIE STEIN.

One of my Monster High girls (^0^) She’s got an interesting pair of eyes. Right is blue, left is green. Do you know a Frankenstein this cute?!  I find her hair her best asset as it’s long and really straight, I feel like a little girl whenever I brush her (or play with her :P ) Sometimes I have to remind myself to stop brushing or otherwise she’ll end up bald.

Age: I’m 15. . . Days that is.

Monster Parent: Frankenstein and his bride

Killer Style: My friends say I have the perfect figure for fashion. I’m not really sure what that means yet but they’ve taken me shopping for some scary cute clothes that are absolutely to die for.

Freaky Flaw: Sometimes my stitches come loose at the worst possible moments. Like the day my arm flew off at fearleading tryouts and landed right in front of the most creeparific guy at Monster High. I was mortalfied!

Pet: Watzit. I’m not sure of all the things he’s made from but Watzit’s pet license is 10 pages long.

Favorite Activity: Since I’m only 15 days old I don’t really have a favorite yet! I want to experience everything before I have to choose.

Biggest Pet Peeve: Every morning when I come upstairs my father insists on grinning and shouting “It’s alive!”

Favorite School Subject: History. It’s great because it helps me to understand where my friends are coming from.

Least Favorite School Subject: Swimming. I tend to short out and say silly things when I get wet.

Favorite Color: Black and white stripes.

Favorite Food: Because I’m only 15 days old, everything I’ve tried so far is the best thing ever!
