Testing my new baby!

Have I already mentioned that there is a new addition to my photography gear family?

My husband surprised me with this one! I wasn’t expecting he’d shell out this much for my hobby but he did. I am so grateful for his generous heart. As always, if he feels I wanted something, he’d give it to me unconditionally. I sometimes asks him what I’ve done to deserve him?

Anyway, I am still testing my new baby, this shot was taken using that ( Canon 70mm-300mm L IS USM )

love love love it!

R & R!

Badly needed. 3 Years without play but all work. Finally happening yes!

I’m just talking about this badly needed vacation. On our 4th day in Thailand and loving the warmth of the sun, good food and relaxation by pratically doing nothing but lounging  the whole day by the pool, heaven!

MY husband, who had not vacationed the past 3 years is finally getting it….I’m just so happy that he’s sleeping well, not thinking of his work (checked for the first time his email today …normally he’s thinking of  his business when on vacation, but not on this one) and teaching me how to swim, lol!

Well, I’d really like to chat longer but  have a crappy internet connection so I’ll be keeping it short.

Take me to the beach, right now please!

It’s already mid-June and we still have no vacation plans. Perhaps we’ll be staying home this year, since my husband has got new clients and really busy in his business. Being your own boss is a big responsibility, and I am so thankful that my husband is serious when it comes to his businesss and work. Also thankful that inspite of the recession happening around the world, we’re still doing fine. Vacation we can take when time permits.
But I must admit that both my husband and I are missing the beach. The sun. Fantastic Thai food. Ah in short, we miss Thailand. If only we can hit the beach right now, oh I guearantee you, we’ll pack our bags the fastest we can!

I took this photo back in 2008 when we were in Thailand. I love photographing beach activities. I found this young Thai man resting under the tree. Them and their horses would usually gallop the kilometres of beaches trying to entice tourists to rent their horses for a fee. You can say that what he’s wearing was his equestrian clothing ha ha! Kidding aside, what makes me happy each time we go to this beach is that that these animals, although being used to earn money, are well taken care of inspite of their high maintenance.

Ah, this photo made me miss Thailand and her beaches!!
