WS# 28: Slow
Monday, May 19, 2008 3:15Sunday morning while hanging my laundry outside, I noticed this snail munching on this red pit that fell on the ground. I’m quite happy about that since I rather that they eat this little pit than my irises and callas! It felt a bit strange photographing this creature, because the whole time it seemed like it was eying me back! And certainly looking through a marco lens, you see the smallest details so it really felt like, can it really see me?
On the first photo, can you see his tiny eyes?
here, let me show you his eyes on this second photo.
I don’t like killing them even though they munch on most our garden greens and flowers. We just poured anti-snails-powder around the plants and flowers so that the snails will not approach them. Seems to be working.

i cant watch the video….i hate things that slithe talaga,including worms,slugs,snakes,etc….

i heard maganda daw ang weather diyan ngayon. enjoy it dahil di nga ba’t very seldom lang lumalabas ang araw sa area natin. nognog na ako dito sa kakapunta ng dagat, ngipin nalang ang maputi sa akin :hehe:

Great close-up shots of the snail. Very interesting creatures but they can be mean to the flowers and plants. Glad you have something to keep them at bay.
