Klompen or wooden shoes.

You might not believe this but wooden shoes are still worn everyday by some dutch people, particularly farmers. They say that these shoes are warm in the winter and cold in the summer. They claim that due to the orthopedic shape -wooden shoes support your feet, ensuring optimum use of foot muscles. This also ensures a child will obtain a good posture if he starts wearing it early.

Hmmm, I don’t know about that, but I tried wearing them and I did not last a minute because they really are hard!
This is my entry for WS this week. If you guys are fond of taking pictures, why not join us? For more info simply click the button.

I don’t think I can last in those too! It looks so hard and uncomfortable. It’s nice for picture purposes, though.
