Saturday, August 20, 2005 11:24Imagine you and your better half, or your brother or sister or whoever you watch the television with during ‘family time’ could simultaneously watch 2 programs on a single machine? how cool is that! No more remote control hierarchy (or at least that’s how it was with my siblings when we were young , who ever zaps first rules )
While having my cup of coffee this morning,I was also watching CNN News. They were showing futuristic gadgets and I got particularly curious about this new invention of Sharp, a flat television where two people can watch their programs at the same time. I don’t know how its called but ever seen a card that changes images when you move it from side to side or up to down? well that’s how this new TV is, except that one viewer would seat on the left side, the other on the right. It was funny to see the demo though, 2 people absorbed watching on opposite sides that I can’t help but notice the distance between them. Hmmm, is that good for the likes of us, who enjoy watching the tele but at the same time seated close and holding hands? especially I always look forward to spending time with my husband even if it means watching his program.
But I think this tv isn’t perfected yet, because obviously you need to hear what you’re watching. I’m not excited with the idea of wearing an earphone or headphone while watching, that’s plausible on aircrafts, IMO.
Would you buy this kind of tv if ever it’s out in the market?

Syempre naman bibilhin ko ito….kapag merong 100% discount! Naku tiyak na pagkamahal-mahal nitong TV na ito once they introduce it to the market.

pero nagiisip pa sila kung pano gagawin dun sa speaker.. hehe.. magdodouble yng sound eh 
sa car lang ata nila gagamitin yng TV na yon.. para lang dun sa driver, navigator lang nakikita.. para wala maaccidente dba??

not much of a tv fan…kaya i won’t be buying it…solong-solo ni dh ang tv, that is if matilda doesn’t want to play with the remote…which of course have hilarious effects..ever seen a grown man pleading with a ferret to return the remote control she stashed in her hidey hole? punta ka dito thess, thats an almost every weekend scene! ang kulit talaga ng cuzin nila gizmo and jacob!

Interesting invention… takes away the fun of having o wrestle for the remote control though. LOL!

Yeah, sure, I don’t mind at all. Anyways, I don’t have much money to spend. To tell you the truth, I’m not much into that techno stuffs, just as long as I have can watch TV hehe

i think i wouldnt mind buying it as long as it’s not more expensive than buying 2 televison sets instead, eheheh!

galing ng mga bagong gadgets ano? but i was wondering, why they didnt just use 2 tv sets? i guess with this new tv, you don’t need a remote to switch to the other channel. problema lang ikaw ang dapat lumipat!

don’t like the idea.. sounds cool but not nice.. it’s always fun to share TV shows’ laughs, tears, opinions with somebody watching it with you… and the sound.. hehehe can you hear it only on the right or left? :p
